'The Chinese Embassy will firmly safeguard the legitimate rights of our students and overseas compatriots,' he stated, confirming diplomatic efforts to address these issues.
Drawing parallels between dragon boat racing and China's development, Xie described the festival's spirit as embodying 'determination, teamwork, and resilience.' He urged overseas compatriots to embrace this ethos in advancing cross-strait unity: 'With 1.4 billion Chinese rowing in unison, no challenge is insurmountable.'
