A sprawling sunflower field in Shenzhen's Futian District has become a must-visit destination this summer, with over 3,000 square meters of golden blooms transforming the Civic Center area into a vibrant spectacle. The meticulously maintained field, cultivated entirely by local volunteers through soil preparation, sowing, and fertilization, is now at its peak beauty and will remain so until late May.
The floral attraction offers residents and travelers alike a picturesque backdrop for photography and relaxation. Its proximity to cultural landmarks like Lianhua Mountain, Shenzhen Museum, and Shenzhen Concert Hall creates a holistic summer experience blending nature and urban exploration.
"This project showcases how community efforts can enhance urban spaces," said a volunteer coordinator. Visitors are encouraged to explore the area's mix of natural beauty and cultural offerings while enjoying Shenzhen's coastal charm.
