Speaking during China’s 35th national day of assisting persons with disabilities, Xi emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from role models to "overcome difficulties and pursue dreams."
In a written instruction to a ceremony honoring disabled role models and disability support advocates, Xi, who also serves as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, underscored the nation’s commitment to fostering inclusivity. The event, held on May 18 ahead of the nationally designated observance day (the third Sunday of May), highlighted stories of perseverance and community-driven initiatives.
