4th China-CEEC Expo in Ningbo Spotlights Tech Innovation, Global Collaboration

The 4th China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo is set to open in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, from May 22 to 25, showcasing groundbreaking technologies and fostering cross-regional cooperation. With Slovakia and Slovenia as guests of honor, this year’s event, themed “New Visions for the Future,” highlights the convergence of digital innovation and industrial advancement.

Showcasing the Future: Digital and Intelligent Frontiers

Ningbo, a technological hub in the Yangtze River Delta, will host the expo’s first-ever “Digital & Intelligent CEEC” exhibition. Over 10 humanoid robots, quadruped robots, and AR interaction technologies will debut, featuring innovations from leading Chinese firms such as Shanghai Zhiyuan Robotics and Zhejiang-based Unitree. Local tech pioneers like the Zhejiang Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and Junpu Research Institute will also demonstrate their latest breakthroughs.

CEEC’s ‘Black Technologies’ Take Center Stage

Central and Eastern European countries will unveil cutting-edge creations, including Hungary’s large-scale VR park—a multi-sensory digital experience—and Slovenia’s Pipistrel electric aircraft, renowned for its lightweight design. Hungary’s “Magic Wall” will blend cultural storytelling with gesture-controlled interfaces, offering an immersive journey through the nation’s history. These exhibits underscore the expo’s role as a bridge for cross-border innovation and cultural exchange.
