CMG Forum 2024 Sparks Global Dialogue on Culture and Tech Innovation

The ancient city of Qufu, birthplace of Confucius, became a modern crossroads of ideas as the 4th China Media Group (CMG) Forum opened on Friday. Over 300 delegates from 95 countries and regions converged to explore how cultural exchange and technological innovation can drive global progress.

Bridging Past and Future
Under the theme "Exchange, Mutual Learning, Technology Empowerment," the forum featured policymakers, media leaders, and corporate executives discussing collaborative strategies. A keynote report revealed that 68% of participating organizations plan to adopt AI-driven cultural preservation tools by 2026.

New Global Initiatives Launched
The event unveiled several cross-border projects, including the 2025 world tour of "China Through Its Intangible Heritage" and joint research on culture-tourism integration. Media representatives embarked on the "China Up Close" tour through Shandong Province, documenting how Qilu culture's 2,500-year legacy inspires contemporary innovation.

Preparing for Civilizational Dialogue
Forum organizers extended invitations for the upcoming 11th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations, reinforcing Qufu's role as a hub for international discourse. As CMG President Shen Haixiong noted, "When tradition and technology dance together, they create universal solutions for sustainable development."
