The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) launched in Hainan on April 13, drawing over 4,100 global brands eager to tap into the Chinese mainland's booming consumer market. This year’s event emphasizes cutting-edge innovations, with artificial intelligence (AI), smart home systems, and the low-altitude economy taking center stage.

Global tech giants and startups alike are showcasing transformative technologies. Chinese robotics leader Unitree debuted its G1 humanoid robot—the country's first mass-produced model—featuring up to 43 joint motors for advanced mobility. Tesla also impressed attendees with its upgraded humanoid robot, now boasting a 30% faster walking speed.

Exhibitors highlighted how AI and robotics are transitioning from labs to households, while low-altitude economy concepts like flying cars signaled a new frontier in transportation. Analysts noted the expo’s focus on practical tech applications, reflecting China’s growing role in shaping global consumer trends.
