Rising star Shao Ziqin, 22, electrified the match early with an opening goal just two minutes in. Forward Zhang Xin delivered a precise pass to Shao, who confidently netted the ball with her right foot. Shao doubled China's lead 10 minutes later with a skillful left-footed strike, showcasing her versatility.

Zhang Xin extended China's advantage with a long-range goal early in the second half. Thailand briefly narrowed the gap when Karnjanathat Phomsri scored in the 48th minute, but Shao completed her hat-trick with an 83rd-minute header. Substitute Wang Aifang sealed the triumph with a final goal in stoppage time.
