Chinese Rescue Team Concludes Myanmar Earthquake Mission

The Ram Union rescue team, a civilian group from the Chinese mainland’s Zhejiang Province, has completed its five-day search and rescue operation in earthquake-stricken Myanmar. The team arrived in Mandalay City last Saturday, where they successfully pulled five survivors from rubble and supported the recovery of 28 bodies amid challenging conditions.

"Our priority was saving lives and assisting local efforts," said the team’s leader, emphasizing collaboration with Myanmar authorities. The mission highlights cross-border humanitarian solidarity, with the group departing after coordinating recovery logistics. Experts note such efforts strengthen regional trust, particularly in disaster-prone Asia.
