The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command announced on Tuesday it conducted joint military drills involving naval, air, and missile forces near the island of Taiwan. The exercises included simulated air interception maneuvers, precision strikes on maritime and land targets, and joint blockade operations across waters north, south, and east of Taiwan.
“These drills test our troops’ ability to integrate operations, secure battlefield control, and execute precision strikes across multiple domains,” the PLA statement read.
