The village prioritized green development by implementing waste sorting, road hardening, and extensive greening projects. Additionally, Xinchuan integrated itself into the new energy industry chain, fostering innovation and economic resilience.
Local residents have been encouraged to venture into leisure agriculture, rural tourism, and boutique homestays, diversifying the village's economic landscape. With a population exceeding 3,000, Xinchuan has established over 80 enterprises, boosting the annual per capita income to 150,000 yuan (approximately $21,000).
Moreover, Xinchuan has developed a demonstration zone for common prosperity, partnering with neighboring villages to share Zhejiang's successful rural revitalization strategies. This collaboration promotes shared development and prosperity across regions.
