Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Angolan Foreign Minister Tete Antonio in Johannesburg on Friday, marking a significant step in strengthening China-Africa relations. Antonio assured China of Angola’s firm support on issues pertaining to China’s core interests. Additionally, as Angola takes on the role of AU chair, he highlighted the country’s intention to enhance communication and coordination with China, deepen China-Africa cooperation, and strengthen the unity of African nations.
