China and Hungary Praise Strong Bilateral Relations at UN Meeting

At a recent meeting at the United Nations headquarters in New York, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Szijjarto, expressed their positive views on the bilateral relations between their two countries.

Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, highlighted Hungary's consistent view of China as a key partner for development. He emphasized that China remains a trustworthy ally for Hungary, irrespective of shifts in the international climate.

Marking the 50th anniversary of China-Hungary diplomatic relations, Wang expressed confidence in Hungary's continued constructive role in fostering healthy and stable China-Europe relations.

Peter Szijjarto echoed these sentiments, valuing the friendship between Hungary and China. He expressed satisfaction with the ongoing high-level exchanges and effective communication between the two nations, noting the significant achievements in various areas of practical cooperation.

Szijjarto also stated Hungary's readiness to elevate the bilateral relations to new heights and reiterated the country's commitment to advancing Europe-China relations, highlighting that effective cooperation aligns with the common interests of all parties involved.
