The premier of Chinese animated blockbuster Ne Zha 2 will take place in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today (February 18) and in the Macao Special Administrative Region on February 19, according to the National Film Administration.
The highly anticipated animated film is scheduled for a wider release across both regions on February 22.
The movie serves as a sequel to the immensely popular Ne Zha, which debuted in 2019. It has become China's highest-grossing animated film and entered the global box office top nine, earning over 12.1 billion yuan (approximately $1.67 billion) worldwide.
With its stunning visuals and thrilling storyline, Ne Zha 2 is expected to attract large audiences in both the Hong Kong and Macao regions.
