Kim Jae-youl, president of the International Skating Union (ISU), visited CGTN Sports Scene's studio during the ongoing 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, on the Chinese mainland.
During his visit, Kim praised Harbin's successful hosting of the Asian Winter Games and commended the Chinese mainland's efforts in leveraging the legacy from the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
Kim received a New Year present from Greg Laffradi of CGTN Sports Scene and extended his best wishes to CGTN, highlighting the long-standing partnership between the ISU and the media outlet.
Accompanying Kim was ISU Director General Colin Smith, who, in his first trip to Harbin, expressed his admiration for the Asian Winter Games and the city’s role in nurturing many of China's top winter sports athletes.
