The ninth Asian Winter Games is just one day away from its grand opening ceremony on Friday in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. Organizers and the Olympic Council of Asia convened at the Main Press Centre (MPC) on Thursday to address inquiries from both Chinese and international media about the Games' preparations, event services, support processes, and the highlights planned for the opening ceremony.

During the press conference, Husain Al-Musallam, Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, emphasized the significant role of the Asian Winter Games in fostering the development of winter sports. \"The Asian Winter Games provide a vital platform for athletes to develop and excel on the international stage,\" Al-Musallam stated.
