The third China Media Group (CMG) Annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony illuminated Beijing on Wednesday, celebrating outstanding achievements in Chinese television over the past year.
The star-studded event honored 21 awards across various categories, from best actor and actress to best drama series. Renowned actors Yu Hewei and Jing Dong, along with actresses Song Jia and Liu Yifei, were awarded the prestigious titles of \"Actor of the Year\" and \"Actress of the Year\" respectively. Fifteen acclaimed TV series, including The Tale of Rose, To the Wonder, and Romance in the Alley, received the \"Outstanding TV Series of the Year\" honors.
In addition to the awards, the ceremony marked the launch of the Film and Television Tourism Consumption Integration Year. This initiative aims to foster the integration of film, television, cultural tourism, and consumption, promoting high-quality development within the cultural tourism sector.
