The third China Media Group (CMG) Annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony was held on Wednesday in Beijing, bringing together the brightest stars of China's television industry. The event honored outstanding contributions in acting and production, highlighting the year's most impactful TV dramas.
A total of 21 awards were presented, ranging from Best Actor and Best Actress to Best Drama Series. Esteemed actors Yu Hewei and Jing Dong, along with actresses Song Jia and Liu Yifei, were awarded the prestigious titles of \"Actor of the Year\" and \"Actress of the Year\" respectively.
Fifteen popular TV series received the \"Outstanding TV Series of the Year\" honor. Notable among them were The Tale of Rose, To the Wonder, and Romance in the Alley, recognized for their exceptional storytelling and production quality.
In conjunction with the ceremony, the Film and Television Tourism Consumption Integration Year was launched. This initiative aims to promote the integration of film and television with cultural tourism and consumer industries, fostering high-quality development in the cultural tourism sector.
The ceremony was a vibrant showcase filled with songs and dances, reenacting memorable scenes from the past year's popular TV dramas. It also paid tribute to the dedicated behind-the-scenes professionals who contribute to the success of China's television industry.
