The China Media Group (CMG) held its third annual Chinese TV Drama Ceremony in Beijing on Wednesday, celebrating outstanding achievements in the television industry.
A total of 21 awards were presented, recognizing the best actors, actresses, and drama series of the year. Notable winners included Yu Hewei and Jing Dong, who were honored as \"Actor of the Year,\" and Song Jia and Liu Yifei, awarded as \"Actress of the Year.\" Additionally, fifteen popular TV series, including The Tale of Rose, To the Wonder, and Romance in the Alley, received the \"Outstanding TV Series of the Year\" honor.
During the ceremony, the Film and Television Tourism Consumption Integration Year was launched, aiming to promote the integration of film and television, cultural tourism and consumption, and the high-quality development of the cultural tourism sector.
The event featured performances of popular songs and dances, showcased memorable scenes from the past year's TV dramas, and paid tribute to the behind-the-scenes workers who contribute to the industry.
The ceremony will be rebroadcast on CCTV-1 at 5:00 p.m. on January 30 and on CCTV-8 during prime time on February 2.
