Giant Panda Couple Bao Li and Qing Bao Make Public Debut at Washington’s National Zoo

The giant panda couple, Bao Li and Qing Bao, made their first public appearance on Friday since their arrival at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C.

Visitors gathered eagerly to catch a glimpse of the pandas, who have quickly become the zoo's star attractions. The playful duo charmed onlookers with their antics, munching on bamboo and exploring their new habitat.

The ceremony to celebrate their official public debut was attended by Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng. In his remarks, he emphasized the significance of the pandas' arrival, stating, \"Embracing pandas is embracing peace and friendship.\"

The presence of Bao Li and Qing Bao at the National Zoo marks a continuing tradition of panda diplomacy between China and the United States, symbolizing goodwill and cooperation between the two countries.
