Harvard Students Immerse Themselves in Chinese Cultural Heritage in Hangzhou

Over 40 students from Harvard University embarked on an enriching cultural journey in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Wednesday. The students delved into the rich tapestry of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, getting firsthand experience of age-old traditions that have been preserved through centuries.

The group was captivated by traditional Chinese attires, learning about the intricate designs and historical significance of the garments. They also rolled up their sleeves to try their hands at woodblock printing, a traditional art form that has been a cornerstone of Chinese cultural expression.

\"Experiencing these cultural practices has been eye-opening,\" said one of the Harvard students. \"It's incredible to see how these traditions have been maintained and continue to be a vital part of the community here in Hangzhou.\"

This cultural immersion offered the students a unique opportunity to appreciate the depth and diversity of Chinese heritage, fostering greater understanding and connections between cultures.
