Suizhong County, Liaoning Province — President Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Wednesday braved the cold to visit flood-affected residents in the village of Zhujiagou, located in northeast China's Liaoning Province.

The visit comes ahead of the Spring Festival, the most important festival for the Chinese people, which falls on January 29 this year. President Xi's trip to Zhujiagou Village, under the administration of Suizhong County in Huludao City, highlights the government's commitment to supporting communities recovering from natural disasters.
