Xi called for continued deepening of strategic cooperation, mutual support, and safeguarding the legitimate interests of both countries. He urged both nations to consolidate and expand their bilateral relations and promote in-depth practical cooperation.

President Putin echoed Xi's sentiments, noting that Russia and China have always trusted and supported each other, treating one another as equals. \"Cooperation between our two countries serves the interests of both peoples and will never be impacted by changes in the international situation,\" Putin affirmed.

During the meeting, the leaders exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern and agreed to maintain strategic communication in the coming year.
