Shenzhou-19 Crew Completes Second 8.5-Hour Spacewalk

The early hours of Tuesday marked a significant achievement for China's orbiting space station as the Shenzhou-19 crew successfully completed their second series of extravehicular activities (EVAs). At precisely 1:12 a.m. Beijing Time, astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze returned safely after spending 8.5 hours working outside the spacecraft.

Under the assistance of the space station's robotic arm and support from the ground team, the trio undertook multiple critical tasks in the vacuum of space. Their efforts not only demonstrate exceptional skill and endurance but also signify a milestone in the ongoing mission.

The China Manned Space Agency announced the completion of these EVAs, highlighting the continued progress of the Shenzhou-19 mission. The astronauts' accomplishments contribute to the advancement of China's space exploration and the development of its orbiting space station.
