President Putin acknowledged the longstanding trust and mutual support between Russia and China. \"Our cooperation serves the interests of both peoples and will never be impacted by changes in the international situation,\" he said. \"Russia and China have always trusted and supported each other and treated each other as equals.\"
During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern and agreed to maintain strategic communication in the coming year.
