Xi Jinping Extends Spring Festival Greetings to Non-CPC Personages

Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, extended heartfelt Spring Festival greetings to non-CPC personages at a gathering held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday. The event brought together representatives from non-CPC political parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC), personages without party affiliation, and other members of the united front ahead of the Spring Festival.

The Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese Lunar New Year, falls on January 29 this year. As the nation prepares to celebrate, Xi Jinping, who is also the Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in his address.

At the gathering, Xi Jinping highlighted China’s commitment to implementing more proactive and impactful macroeconomic policies. He stressed the focus on high-quality development and promoting greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology. These efforts aim to maintain a sound momentum for social and economic development in 2025.

“We must work together to ensure that our goals for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) are successfully accomplished,” Xi Jinping stated. “By laying a solid foundation this year, we set the stage for the next five years, propelling our nation toward greater achievements.”

He called on the non-CPC political parties, the ACFIC, and personages without party affiliation to align with the central tasks of the nation. “Serve the overall interests of the country and leverage your respective strengths,” he urged. “By rallying support, building consensus, and pooling wisdom and strength, we can achieve our shared objectives.”

Xi Jinping’s message underscored the significance of unity across all sectors of society as China navigates its path forward. By fostering collaboration and focusing on innovation and development, the nation aims to continue its trajectory of growth and prosperity.
