In his message to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam and Vietnamese President Luong Cuong, Xi highlighted the profound friendship and historical bonds that unite China and Vietnam.
\"China and Vietnam, two friendly socialist neighbors, represent a community with a shared future that carries strategic significance,\" Xi stated. He recalled the mutual support during the struggle for national independence and liberation, noting, \"'So profound is the friendship between Vietnam and China, because we are both comrades and brothers' has become the most vivid portrayal of the relations between our two parties and countries.\"
Emphasizing the shared ideals and the journey towards socialism, Xi mentioned that both countries have learned from each other and advanced hand in hand, deepening comprehensive strategic cooperation.
