Xi, who also serves as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, exchanged congratulations with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam and Vietnamese President Luong Cuong. He highlighted the profound friendship between China and Vietnam, noting that the two socialist neighbors have fought side by side and supported each other in their struggles for national independence and liberation over the past 75 years.
\"So profound is the friendship between Vietnam and China, because we are both comrades and brothers,\" Xi remarked, illustrating the close ties between the two parties and countries. He recalled his successful visit to Vietnam in 2023, where both sides pledged to work toward a China-Vietnam community with a shared future, elevating bilateral relations to a new stage.
Amid unprecedented global changes, Xi stressed that China and Vietnam's steadfast commitment to the path of socialism affects not only the future of both parties and countries but also the global socialist cause.
