Since establishing diplomatic ties 75 years ago, both countries have \"fought side by side and supported each other in their struggle for national independence and liberation.\" Xi emphasized that the profound friendship between the two nations is vividly portrayed in the saying, \"So profound is the friendship between Vietnam and China, because we are both comrades and brothers.\"

Reflecting on his successful visit to Vietnam in 2023, Xi recalled that both sides pledged to work towards a China-Vietnam community with a shared future, elevating bilateral relations to a new stage. He stressed that as unprecedented changes unfold globally, China and Vietnam's continued commitment to the path of socialism significantly impacts their futures, the global socialist cause, and contributes to regional and global peace, stability, development, and prosperity.
