The Legend of the White Snake is an enduring story blending romance, tragedy, and supernatural intrigue. Passed down through centuries, it tells of the passionate love between a human, Xu Xian, and a white snake spirit, Bai Suzhen, who transforms into a beautiful woman.
The troupe’s performance depicts the intense battle, showcasing the profound emotions and timeless themes that have made the tale a cornerstone of Chinese folklore.
