China’s Ministry of Commerce announced on Tuesday that seven U.S. companies have been added to its unreliable entity list for selling arms to the Taiwan region. The decision was made by the unreliable entity list work mechanism in accordance with laws and regulations, the ministry stated.
In addition to placing these companies on the list, the ministry has unveiled a series of restrictive measures targeting them. This action reflects China’s response to activities it considers contrary to its laws and policies regarding the Taiwan region.
