Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday extended his “sincere condolences on the tragic aftermath” of a powerful earthquake that jolted southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region.
In an English-version statement, President Putin said, “Russia shares the grief of those who lost their families and close ones in this disaster and hopes for a speedy recovery of the injured.”
