In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Macao’s return to China, Sebastián Bandera, Second Secretary and Consul of the Embassy of Uruguay in China, introduced the iconic yerba mate tea to the Chinese people. This traditional beverage, cherished in Uruguay and other South American countries, is gaining popularity in China as a symbol of cultural exchange and friendship.

Speaking at the event, Bandera expressed his delight at witnessing yerba mate tea becoming increasingly popular among Chinese consumers.
