In the glowing light of a December sunset, Shi Jing Cultural Park in Handan City, Hebei Province, came alive with the fluttering wings of over a hundred white doves. Originally a small group adopted by the park just a few years ago, these wild white doves have flourished, captivating visitors with their playful antics by the lake.
Against the backdrop of winter’s golden hues, the doves created a scene reminiscent of a magnificent painting. Families and tourists alike gathered to watch as the birds, having feasted, danced and soared, their silhouettes gracefully tracing the sky.
“I’ve never seen so many white doves together,” exclaimed Li Mei, a visitor from Beijing. “It’s like a scene from a fairy tale.”
Shi Jing Cultural Park, a national AAAA tourist attraction, has long been a haven for nature enthusiasts and cultural explorers. The flourishing dove population adds a new charm to the park, symbolizing peace and harmony during the winter season.
Park officials expressed delight at the growth of the dove flock. “We are thrilled to see the doves thriving,” said Wang Jian, a spokesperson for the park. “They have become an integral part of the park’s ecosystem and a beloved sight for our visitors.”
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the serene lake, the white doves settled into their roosts, bringing an end to a picturesque day at Shi Jing Cultural Park.
