The Communist Party of China (CPC) hosted the “CPC in Dialogue with Political Parties of Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) 2024” event in Beijing on Monday. Representatives from nearly 50 political parties across 12 Central and Eastern European countries gathered to discuss enhancing cooperation and strengthening ties between China and the CEEC.
Liu Jianchao, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, emphasized the importance of deepening strategic and theoretical communication with CEEC political parties. He noted that the 2021 China-CEEC Summit had outlined a blueprint for future relations and that the CPC is eager to tap into the potential of cooperation platforms to promote the quality and effectiveness of China-CEEC collaboration.
“We are willing to work closely with CEEC political parties to enhance mutual understanding and pursue common development goals,” Liu stated.
