Florence Chia-ying Yeh, also known as Ye Jiaying, an esteemed scholar of classical Chinese poetry, has passed away at the age of 100. Nankai University in Tianjin, where she devoted much of her career, confirmed her passing on Sunday.

Yeh dedicated over seventy years to teaching, researching, and promoting classical Chinese poetry both in China and internationally. Even in her nineties, she remained actively engaged in academia, inspiring generations with her passion and wisdom.
