In his address, Zhang emphasized that understanding China requires an understanding of Chinese modernization. He highlighted the achievements of socialist China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, noting the “two miracles” of rapid economic development and long-term social stability.

Chai discussed the mutual development prospects of China and Latin American countries, asserting that global challenges should not hinder collaboration. She envisioned future economic and trade cooperation expanding beyond traditional areas to include frontier sectors like the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and cross-border e-commerce.

Du shared China’s successful experience in eradicating absolute poverty, underscoring how precise poverty alleviation strategies have contributed to China’s modernization goals. He suggested that China’s innovative approaches offer valuable insights into solving global poverty.

Li highlighted that while Chinese modernization shares common traits with other countries, it also possesses unique characteristics rooted in China’s national conditions. He advocated for upgrading demand, supply, and efficiency structures to promote high-quality development and provide sustained momentum for global economic growth.

Ana Josefina Arias, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, praised the significant impact of Chinese modernization on Latin America. She noted that China’s development presents new opportunities for economic growth in the region and expressed hope for Argentina to find its own development path inspired by China’s experience.
