President Xi Concludes G20 Summit and State Visit to Brazil

Chinese President Xi Jinping departed from Brasilia on Thursday, concluding his participation in the 19th G20 Leaders’ Summit and a state visit to Brazil.

During his time in Brasilia, President Xi engaged in high-level discussions with global leaders at the G20 Summit, focusing on international economic cooperation and sustainable development. His state visit aimed to strengthen bilateral ties between China and Brazil, fostering collaboration in various sectors including trade, technology, and cultural exchange.

As President Xi left the capital, Brazilian senior officials bid him a warm farewell at the airport, marking the end of a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

On the route to the airport, representatives of the overseas Chinese community, Chinese institutions, and students lined both sides of the road. Waving the national flags of China and Brazil, they expressed their congratulations on the successful visit and their support for the deepening relationship between the two countries.
