Severe extreme weather events, such as heat waves, hurricanes, and floods, have intensified concerns worldwide. According to the survey, 90.4% of global respondents believe that the frequency of extreme weather events has rapidly increased in recent years. Additionally, 87.3% feel that the frequent occurrence of these disasters reflects a rapid deterioration of the global climate.
Climate governance issues are at the forefront of global consciousness, with 89.8% of respondents expressing that they are “very concerned” or “concerned” about how these challenges are being addressed.
