China’s Shenzhou-18 Crew Returns Safely After 192-Day Space Mission

In a triumphant conclusion to their six-month mission aboard the China Space Station, China’s Shenzhou-18 astronauts—Ye Guangfu, Li Cong, and Li Guangsu—safely returned to Earth early Monday morning.

The return capsule touched down precisely at 1:24 a.m. at the Dongfeng landing site in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The trio emerged from the capsule by 2:15 a.m., all in good health and high spirits after their extended stay in space.

"The Shenzhou-18 manned mission was a complete success," announced the China Manned Space Agency, marking a significant milestone in China’s ambitious space exploration program.

During their 192-day journey, the astronauts conducted a series of scientific experiments and technological tests, contributing valuable data to the ongoing development of China’s space capabilities.

The mission reinforces China’s position as a major player in space exploration, showcasing its growing expertise and commitment to long-term space missions.
