China has called on all nations to transform their commitments under the Geneva Conventions into concrete actions to ensure the universal and consistent application of international humanitarian law. Speaking at the 34th International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent held from October 28 to 31 in Geneva, Chen Xu, China's permanent representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva and other international organizations in Switzerland, emphasized the urgent need for collaborative efforts in addressing global humanitarian challenges.
