An 8-year-old girl from Indonesia, Samantha Victoria Susanto, has captured hearts with her vibrant painting of the Great Wall of China. Participating in CGTN’s “China Through My Eyes” Global Children’s Art Project, Samantha shared her admiration for one of China’s most iconic landmarks.
Writing in Chinese, Samantha described her artwork: “The Great Wall is one of China’s most magnificent historical structures.” Her words, coupled with her colorful depiction of the ancient fortification, reflect a deep appreciation for Chinese culture at a young age.
“I painted the Great Wall because it’s one of my favorite places,” Samantha explained in her video submission. Flashing a sweet smile and a charming finger heart, she added, “I love China!” Her enthusiasm and talent highlight the cultural connections that transcend borders.
