The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum) Annual Conference commenced today in Beijing, marking the start of a five-day event focused on accelerating the integration of technological breakthroughs with industrial applications. Running through March 29, this year’s forum brings together over 1,000 participants from 100 countries and regions to explore innovations in 6G networks, brain-computer interfaces, and cell therapies.
Under the theme “Full Integration Between Technological and Industrial Innovation,” the conference features 20+ technology matchmaking events and 500+ project roadshows. Key highlights include the Grand Final of the Zhongguancun International Advanced Technology Innovation Competition and live demonstrations of emerging technologies.
Notably, the ZGC International Technology Trade Fair will showcase cross-border collaboration opportunities, with organizers emphasizing partnerships between the Chinese mainland and overseas investors. The forum’s parallel sessions will address regulatory frameworks for commercializing advanced research.
