China Unveils Next-Gen Aircraft at 2025 AERO Asia Expo in Zhuhai

The 2025 AERO Asia Expo has opened with groundbreaking displays of aviation innovation in Zhuhai, showcasing China's latest advancements in civilian aircraft technology. Running from November 27 to 30, the event highlights next-generation helicopters, electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles, and cutting-edge drone systems currently under development.

Visitors to the expo witnessed the debut of several domestically developed aircraft models, including a hydrogen-powered passenger drone prototype and a hybrid-electric air taxi designed for urban mobility. A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated: "These innovations demonstrate our commitment to sustainable aviation solutions that address global transportation challenges."

The event has drawn significant attention from international aviation experts and investors, with representatives from 28 countries and regions, including the Taiwan region, participating in technical exchanges. Business analysts note that the showcased eVTOL models could revolutionize short-haul transportation across Asia's megacities by 2030.
