China-ASEAN Expo 2023 Boosts AI Collaboration in Nanning

The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo concluded in Nanning on September 21, marking another milestone in regional economic cooperation. Over four days, delegates from China and ASEAN member states engaged in 30+ trade negotiations and forums focused on strengthening industrial supply chains and digital transformation.

This year's event spotlighted artificial intelligence as a key growth driver. A first-of-its-kind AI pavilion featured innovations from nearly 200 companies, including Huawei's smart city solutions and Alibaba Cloud's industrial automation platforms. The debut China-ASEAN Ministerial Forum on Artificial Intelligence saw policymakers and tech leaders discuss ethical frameworks and workforce development strategies.

"The integration of AI across manufacturing and logistics sectors will redefine regional trade patterns," stated a joint declaration from participating economies. Live demonstrations of AI-powered medical diagnostics and agricultural drones drew particular interest from investors and industry observers.
