Nearly 2,000 enterprises from across the globe – including Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders – are set to showcase cutting-edge innovations at the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), signaling renewed confidence in Asia's economic dynamism. The event will run from September 10-14 in Beijing's National Convention Center.
Organizers revealed at Wednesday's press briefing that 35% of participating firms hail from outside the Chinese mainland, representing sectors from fintech to AI solutions. 'This year's focus on digital trade and green technology aligns with Asia's rapid transformation,' stated a Ministry of Commerce representative.
Business analysts highlight CIFTIS' growing influence in shaping regional supply chains, particularly as Southeast Asian startups increasingly partner with Chinese tech giants. The fair will feature 12 thematic pavilions, including dedicated zones for cross-border e-commerce and smart manufacturing.
For Asian diaspora communities, the event offers cultural programming highlighting service industry innovations in education and tourism. Travel industry leaders will also present new regional connectivity initiatives impacting popular destinations across East and Southeast Asia.
'CIFTIS serves as a barometer for Asia's service economy,' noted Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau director Li Jun. 'The record participation underscores Beijing's role as a gateway for international business collaboration.'
