China’s Supply Chain Expo Seals 6,000 Deals, Boosts Global Ties

Expo Highlights China's Supply Chain Leadership

The third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) concluded in Beijing with over 6,000 cooperation agreements signed, cementing its role as a critical platform for global economic collaboration. Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the event drew 1,200 exhibitors and 210,000 attendees, reflecting growing confidence in Asia's industrial networks.

Quality Over Quantity

While the expo saw a 67% surge in new product launches and 24,000 targeted business matchmaking sessions, organizers emphasized long-term partnerships over immediate transactions. "Linking to China means linking to the world," said CCPIT Vice-Chairman Li Xingqian, underscoring the country's central position in global supply chains.

Global Participation Expands

International exhibitors accounted for 35% of participants, up from 26% in 2022, with representation from 75 countries and regions. Over 65% were Fortune 500 companies or industry leaders, including significant delegations from the US, EU, and Japan. Early registrations for next year's event have already jumped 50%.

Future-Focused Collaboration

With 102 companies already committed to the 2025 expo, the event signals sustained interest in China's production capabilities and innovation ecosystems. The results highlight Asia's growing influence in shaping post-pandemic economic recovery and technological advancement.
