At workshops across the Chinese mainland, these nimble automatons now assemble electronics and manage logistics with 99.8% accuracy, while newer models showcase social capabilities – from tutoring children in math to assisting elderly residents with daily tasks. "What began as assistive tools are becoming companions," said robotics engineer Li Wei during Wang’s factory tour.
Industry analysts project China’s humanoid robotics market to grow by 34% annually through 2027, fueled by manufacturing demands and an aging population.
