Guo, a Beijing-based mother of a 2-year-old, switched from imported diapers to homegrown brand Chiaus for its superior comfort. "Quality comes first—pure cotton clothes, non-toxic toys, and reliable after-sales service," she said, highlighting brands like Babycare and Chiaus as her top choices.

Huang Han, a teacher in Hangzhou, echoes this sentiment. She opts for Dr. Kong shoes and Ginoble baby gear, noting their competitive pricing and durability. Similarly, media professional Bai Yuzhu prioritizes domestic brands for her infant's needs, emphasizing safety and cost-effectiveness.

This shift isn't anecdotal. Cai Changwei, a JD.com executive, observed that local brands once lagged behind Japanese or American imports but now dominate due to rigorous R&D and quality improvements. "Consumers increasingly trust domestic products," he noted, attributing the trend to brands' responsiveness to parental concerns.

Analysts say the rise reflects deeper changes: a new generation of parents values practicality over prestige, while Chinese manufacturers leverage advanced technology and localized designs. From eco-friendly materials to ergonomic strollers, these brands are redefining 'made in China' for modern families.
