China Rejects New US Tariffs, Sees No Winners in Trade Conflict

China has strongly opposed the United States' latest decision to impose an additional 10 percent tariff on goods imported from the Chinese mainland. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that applying pressure through tariffs is not an appropriate approach for managing U.S.-China relations.

Lin emphasized that China is firmly dissatisfied with the new tariffs and asserted that there are no winners in the ongoing \"trade war, tariff war\" between the two nations.

Furthermore, China urged the United States to rectify its practices, address mutual concerns through equal consultation, and work towards fostering stable, healthy, and sustainable development of relations between China and the U.S.
