Han is in Washington D.C. to attend the inauguration ceremony of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Monday as the special representative of President Xi Jinping.
During the meeting with delegates from the U.S.-China Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Han highlighted the significant common interests and potential for cooperation between China and the United States. He noted that recent discussions between President Xi and President-elect Trump have laid the groundwork for advancing bilateral relations.

The U.S. business representatives expressed optimism about China's economic prospects and development opportunities. They welcomed the positive signals from the recent telephone conversation between Trump and Xi, advocating for mutually beneficial cooperation and a constructive approach to U.S.-China relations.

Han also met with Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Sunday. Han welcomed U.S. companies like Tesla to seize opportunities in China and contribute to the promotion of China-U.S. economic and trade relations. Musk expressed Tesla's readiness to deepen investment and cooperation in China and to play an active role in fostering economic exchanges between the two countries.
